In Situ Study of FePt Nanoparticles‐Induced Morphology Development during Printing of Magnetic Hybrid Diblock Copolymer Films

The development of magnetic hybrid films containing diblock copolymers (DBCs) and nanoparticles (NPs) by printing is a highly promising method for scalable low-cost fabrication. During printing, the drying arrangement kinetics DBC NPs play an important role in film formation concerning morphology properties. In this study, evolution ultrahigh molecular weight polystyrene-block-poly(methyl methacrylate) iron platinum (FePt) investigated with grazing-incidence small-angle X-ray scattering (GISAXS) situ during printing. For comparison, pure printed without FePt under same conditions. GISAXS data suggest that addition accelerates solvent evaporation, leading to faster compared film. As almost evaporated, metastable state observed both films. Compared film, such continues longer process because presence NPs, which inhibits reorganization chains. Moreover, investigations field-dependent magnetization temperature-dependent susceptibility indicate superparamagnetic, makes class sensors.
